At IT1.TEAM, we strive to provide the best IT solutions and services. However, we understand that there may be occasions where you need to return a product or cancel a service.
This Refund & Return Policy outlines your rights and our obligations regarding returns, cancellations, and refunds.
If you are a Consumer (an individual acting for purposes which are outside your trade, business, craft, or profession), you have the right to withdraw from a contract under EU consumer laws as follows:
Period: You have the right to return physical goods (e.g., smart home devices, sensors, hardware) purchased from us within 14 days of receiving the item without giving any reason.
Condition: The item must be unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition that you received it.
Return Costs: You are responsible for the shipping costs of returning the item to us, unless the item was delivered in error or is defective.
Period: You have the right to cancel a service contract within 14 days of concluding the contract.
Performance Exception: If you requested us to begin the performance of services (e.g., installation work or urgent IT support) during the cancellation period, you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed. If you cancel after we have started but before we have finished, you must pay us an amount proportional to the services provided up to the time you communicated your cancellation.
Hosting: For hosting or cloud subscriptions, you may cancel your subscription at any time. The cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. We generally do not refund partial months for hosting services already used, unless required by law.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
Custom Software: Software or code developed specifically to your specifications.
B2B Contracts: Services or goods provided to Business Clients (see Section 5 below).
Digital Content: Downloadable software or digital content where you have expressly consented to the beginning of the performance and acknowledged that you lose your right of withdrawal.
To exercise your right of withdrawal or request a refund, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement.

Please include your order number, invoice number, and a description of the issue.
Once we receive your returned item or cancellation request:
We will inspect the returned goods (if applicable).
We will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, the refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment (e.g., via Mollie) within 14 days.
If a hardware product you purchased from us is defective or malfunctions, please contact us immediately. We adhere to the statutory legal guarantee under Dutch law. We will arrange for the repair, replacement, or refund of the defective product.
For clients acting in a professional or business capacity (B2B):
The statutory 14-day "Cooling-off" period does not apply.
Refunds, cancellations, and returns are governed strictly by the terms set forth in your specific Service Agreement (SLA) or Contract.
In the absence of a specific clause in the Contract, refunds are at the sole discretion of IT1.TEAM.
